The Department of Commerce (DOC) is committed to increasing the employment of non-disabled and disabled veterans throughout the Department. Commerce uses various hiring flexibilities, including the Veterans' Recruitment Appointment authority, to increase veterans representation among our workforce of approximately 35,000 full-time equivalent employees.
